It can definitely be done. There are many RAs that are involved in Greek Life. I think it depends on the person and their level of involvement. If you are just a member, then you can do it but you just need to be organized. The former President of a sorority on campus was a RA during her time leading the chapter. I work with two girls in a sorority, and they do their jobs just fine. If you feel you can balance, then try it. You should also keep in mind that some greek lifestyles violate what is required of you as a RA. RAs can be fired if they are at a party with underage residents. If they are experiences you want, then you owe it to yourself to make an attempt. I would just be careful, since too much involvement in both would be hectic.
(Personally I lead three student clubs, am a member of the Honors program and am a RA. However, I don’t enjoy the time consuming social aspects of college like partying so it works for me).
